Continuity and Differentiability - Introduction
This chapter is essentially a continuation of our study of differentiation of works in class XI. We had learnt to distinguish between polynomial functions and some functions such as trigonometric functions. In this chapter, we introduce very important concepts of continuity, variation, and the relationship between them.
We will also learn about the differentiation of inverse trigonometric functions. Moreover, we introduce a new class of works called exponential and logarithmic works. These tasks lead to powerful techniques of differentiation. We describe some geometrically clear situations through differential calculus. In this process, we will learn about some of the basic theorems in this field.
