The Supreme Court has agreed to a scheme that is proposed by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to assess the performance of class 10th and 12th students in their examinations.
Board says it will upload details information of the assessment plan on its official website.
The ICSE and CBSE had cancelled the pending exams that were scheduled between July 1 and 15 to protect the students from the COVID-19 global pandemic.
CBSE and the Union government informed that the Board would upload all the details information about the assessment scheme on its official website in an hour.
According to the scheme, class 10th and 12th students who have completed their exams, their marks would be based on their performance. In case of those have completed more than three subjects, the average marks in their best three performing subjects would be taken for assessing the scores for the cancelled July exams.
Those students who have completed only three subjects in exams, the average of the two best subjects would be taken for final assessment.
Assessment results would be out by July 15. This result would be treated as final for Class 10.
However, Class 12 students can choose to appear for optional examination to be held in future.
